ABOUT LE BUZZ™
le Buzz was started in February of 1999 to cover the Be Operating System as a platform on which to do professional audio work. Since then, we have been reporting the news on a daily basis, covering every nuance of BeOS audio. Over time, our focus has broadened to include coverage of all high bandwidth professional media, including video, television, and 3D/animation.
In Summer of 1999, we launched Audio Buzz, a weekly Internet radio show which provides a summary of the week's BeOS media news, features, interviews, and music creations from "Buzzers (our nickname for BeOS media enthusiasts)."
In December of 1999, le Buzz spawned a new review site called, The StudioLab, which specializes in providing product reviews for BeOS media pros. Based on review rankings, StudioLab selects "favorites" that we recommend as the best picks for "project studio/home studio" and "high-end pro studio" settings.

The BuzzList™ is a web page on this site which contains the names and contact information of fellow media pros and musicians who are either currently using Be for media work or are looking into it.
Product Buzz is the web's most comprehensive of professional media products, complete with descriptions and links to related companies.
BeLoud Mailing List is an e-mail list for BeOS audio enthusiasts.
Buzz About It is your le Buzz bulletin board, where you can discuss BeOS high bandwidth media issues and comment on the stories you see on le Buzz each day.
ABOUT DANE SCOTT
Just who is the guy who writes all this stuff? That's me. I'm Dane Scott, a former radio broadcaster, now freelancing as a narrator, commercial producer, and web designer. I started le Buzz after becoming convinced the BeOS is a great operating system for high bandwidth media development.
When not doing my le Buzz writing or working on my "trade," I love to climb into my boat (we live on a river) and head out onto the water for an evening of fishing. I also play bass guitar and some lead guitar in a contemporary Christian band called "Soul Solution," which is a fun and rewarding experience.
As you might suspect by my involvement in Soul Solution, I am a born-again Christian who made the decision to trust Jesus Christ to forgive my sins and lead my life. That was easily the best decision I ever made, and I recommend it to everybody! I would love the opportunity to share my faith or answer questions, so feel free to contact me about it.
